On the 3rd, Samil PwC announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Chemical Industry Association on the 2nd to support trade-related tasks in the chemical industry. The signing ceremony was attended by Myungsoo Kang, Head of Samil PwC Global Trade Solutions Center, and Chanwang Eom, Executive Vice President of the Korea Chemical Industry Association.
Through this MOU, both parties will strategically cooperate to enable the domestic chemical industry to effectively respond to the strengthened protectionism under the second Trump administration. Samil PwC and the association will provide basic consulting and advisory services on tariff reductions in major export countries including the U.S., production site optimization strategies, supply chain diversification, and anti-dumping investigations. They will also operate lectures and training programs for industry stakeholders.

Center Head Myungsoo Kang stated, "Samil PwC will spare no effort to provide the best support so that the Korean chemical industry can turn the tariff and trade-related crises it faces into opportunities."
Executive Vice President Chanwang Eom said, "The signing of this MOU will contribute to reducing trade risks arising from the Trump tariff policies and the spread of global protectionism, and help the Korean chemical industry gain higher competitiveness in the global market."
