Yoon Jaesang Wins Incheon City Council Seat with 58.8% of Votes
Heo Yuri Takes First Place in Ganghwa County Council Race with 42.8%
In the by-elections for Incheon City Council and Ganghwa County Council held on the 2nd, all candidates from the People Power Party secured victories.

According to the National Election Commission on the 3rd, as of 12:20 AM with a 99.9% vote count rate, candidate Yoon Jae-sang, who ran in the Incheon City Council (Ganghwa County electoral district) by-election, took first place with 15,380 votes (58.8%). Democratic Party candidate Oh Hyun-sik received 10,796 votes (41.2%).
Candidate Yoon previously served as a Ganghwa County council member in the 4th and 7th terms and as a city council member in the 6th and 8th terms.
In the Ganghwa County Council (Ganghwa County District A) by-election, candidate Heo Yu-ri secured 5,597 votes (42.8%) with a 99.9% vote count rate, confirming her election.
The by-elections in the Incheon area were held due to vacancies created by incumbent council members running in last year's Ganghwa County governor election and this year's Incheon City Council election.
