Jeonnam Development Corporation (President Jang Chungmo) announced on the 2nd that it has become the first public institution in Korea to obtain certification for the Risk Management System (ISO 31000).
ISO 31000 is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which certifies a comprehensive management system for systematically managing risks that may arise across all aspects of management and business operations.
Jeonnam Development Corporation has been officially recognized for meeting international standards in its company-wide risk management system, including the CEO’s commitment to risk management, establishment of a systematic risk management manual, operation of a risk management organization, and the construction of response processes.
Jeonnam Development Corporation has focused on strengthening its company-wide risk management capabilities to overcome crises stemming from uncertain business environments such as the downturn in the real estate market and soaring construction costs, and to steadily promote balanced development in Jeonnam, including improving residents’ housing welfare and revitalizing renewable energy. This certification is the result of such efforts and is evaluated as an achievement that demonstrates the company’s commitment to enhancing management reliability and realizing sustainable management.
