On the 2nd, Catholic University announced the '2025 Regular Admission Results,' stating that the competition rate increased compared to the previous year, resulting in improved admission outcomes. A representative from Catholic University said, "This is evaluated as an indicator that the university's recognition and preference have increased."

According to Catholic University, based on the final registrants of the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) general admission, the average percentile for the College of Medicine was the highest at 99.3. The Department of Pharmacy also showed very high admission results, recording 96.9.

The 70% cut percentile score (70th out of 100), which is disclosed by all universities under the same standard, also recorded high scores with 99.2 for the College of Medicine and 96.7 for the Department of Pharmacy, indicating that the nationwide increase in medical school quotas did not affect these results.

In particular, for the highly anticipated General Admission II, the average percentile by department based on final registrants was 92.1 for the Division of Liberal Arts, 91.4 for the Natural Science and Engineering fields, and 91.3 for the Humanities and Social Sciences fields, with all departments exceeding an average percentile of 90. The average English grade was also better for General Admission II, with an average of grade 2 compared to grade 3 for General Admission, indicating that more outstanding students ultimately enrolled.

A representative from Catholic University stated, "Although it is a newly established admission track, the reason for the high competition rate and admission results is attributed to the proactive, demand-friendly admission design by the admissions office amid the declining school-age population and the synergy created by establishing large-scale regional recruitment units."

General Admission II, newly established for the 2025 academic year, reflects one of the Korean or Math sections, the English section, and the inquiry section of the CSAT, providing examinees with more options. Detailed regular admission results can be found on the Catholic University admissions website under 'Previous Year Admission Results.'
