Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency and Busan Human Rights Center Join Hands to Promote Human Rights Management Culture

"Strengthening Mutual Cooperation for Practicing Respect for Human Rights"

Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (President Kim Taeyeol) signed a business agreement with the Busan Human Rights Center (Director An Seongtae) on the 1st to promote "the activation of human rights management and the spread of a culture that respects human rights."

This agreement is significant in that the Game Rating and Administration Committee, Busan Design Promotion Agency, Busan Cinema Center, and Korean Film Council, all members of the Busan Centum District ESG Council, participated together to jointly promote the values of human rights management.

According to the agreement, each organization will actively promote ▲the activation of human rights management and education ▲consultation and advice on workplace harassment and gender equality grievances ▲policy proposals and research for human rights improvement ▲and other activities for mutual development and cooperation.

Kim Taeyeol, President of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, stated, "Human rights sensitivity is a core value for sustainable organizational management," and added, "With this agreement as a starting point, we will continue concrete efforts to implement effective human rights management and strengthen the protection and respect of employees' rights."

After the signing ceremony, human rights education was conducted at the Busan Cinema Center by Lee Sooyoung, a commissioned instructor from the Busan Human Rights Center. After the education session, participants watched the human rights-related film "Saint Judy" together. Through the film, participants were able to deepen their understanding of the training content and strengthen their commitment to internalizing and practicing human rights awareness.

An official from the agency stated, "This agreement and training are part of our efforts to spread a culture of respect for human rights and to solidify a practical human rights management system. We expect this will further strengthen human rights management among public institutions in the Busan area in the future."
