The maximum subsidy is 20 million KRW per machine (50% subsidy, 50% self-payment). Eligible recipients are agricultural management entities that have their address and actually reside in Muju County. The selection of 69 farms was finalized based on criteria such as registered farming area, ownership of the same type of machinery, farming experience, and available labor within the household.

The selected farms must purchase and complete the acquisition of agricultural machinery listed in the agricultural machinery catalog published by the Korea Agricultural Machinery Industry Cooperative by the end of November.

For more details, inquiries can be made to the Industry Team at the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers or the Eco-friendly Agriculture Team in the Agricultural Policy Division at the Muju County Agricultural Technology Center.

Shin Jaewon, head of the Eco-friendly Agriculture Team at the Muju County Agricultural Technology Center, said, "We hope this will provide practical help in reducing the burden of purchasing expensive agricultural machinery," and added, "Furthermore, it is expected to help address the labor shortage in rural areas due to aging, promote mechanization, and ultimately improve the agricultural structure."

The Subsidy Program for Purchasing Agricultural Machinery began in 2019 and has supported over 9 billion KRW and 2,120 units of agricultural machinery over six years through 2024.
