Support for New Solution Development and Solution Advancement
New Shared Solution Category Introduced This Year
Pre-consulting Provided for Interested Companies
On the 2nd, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that it is recruiting participating companies for the '2025 SME Smart Service Support Project' to promote digital transformation (DX) of SMEs in the service sector.
The SME Smart Service Support Project supports the creation of business models (BM) for developing new services or the establishment of solutions necessary to improve customer service quality such as logistics, supply chain management, marketing, sales, and advertising.
There are three types of support: new solution development, solution advancement, and shared solution development.
In the new solution development category, 110 companies will be selected and supported with up to 50 million KRW, while in the solution advancement category, which further develops existing solutions, 25 companies will receive up to 100 million KRW.
In the shared solution development category, which is being promoted as a pilot project this year, 8 tasks will be selected and supported with up to 250 million KRW. This category supports the development of solutions that can be jointly used by five or more SMEs in the service sector, aiming to strengthen the capabilities of solution providers.
To participate in the project, SMEs in the service sector wishing to undergo DX and companies with solution development capabilities must form a consortium.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups provides pre-consulting by experts for companies wishing to participate in the project to diagnose the level of digital transformation, offer necessary technical consulting, and derive business plans. Applications for consulting can be submitted via email to the executing agencies from today until the 18th.
Applications for the project can be submitted online from the 12th to the 23rd of next month, regardless of whether pre-consulting was received.
