Busan Haeundae Police Station Presents Certificate of Appreciation
Local company Daesun Distilling has teamed up with the Busan Haeundae Police Station to raise public awareness about voice phishing crimes in the community.
On the afternoon of the 1st, Daesun Distilling signed a promotional partnership agreement for a supplementary label at the Busan Haeundae Police Station to prevent voice phishing damages and received a certificate of appreciation for its contributions to local crime prevention.
The signing ceremony was attended by Daesun Distilling CEO Cho Woo-hyun, Busan Haeundae Police Chief Lee Sang-tak, and about 10 other officials, who pledged to work together to improve public safety.

Through this agreement, Daesun Distilling plans to include the phrase “If you suspect voice phishing, STOP. If you check, SAFE. Stop that call and report to 112” on the C1 supplementary label to alert local residents to the dangers of voice phishing crimes.
Cho Woo-hyun, CEO of Daesun Distilling, said, “We decided to participate in this collaboration to help reduce voice phishing crimes, which have recently become a serious social issue. We will continue to actively participate in activities for local residents through ongoing cooperation with the police and other public institutions.”
In addition to the Busan Haeundae Police Station, Daesun Distilling has been conducting various public interest campaigns with local public institutions such as Busan City Hall, Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, Namhae County Office, and Dongnae District Office, setting an example of public-private cooperation.
