Kim Jaebyeong, head of the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters, visited Yongmunsan in Yangpyeong-gun on April 1st, the first day of the month, to inspect wildfire prevention and response measures.
The Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that Director Kim visited Yongmunsan in Yangpyeong-gun to prepare for the vulnerable wildfire season in spring and to inspect the site for wildfire prevention and response, followed by checking the activities of the self-defense fire brigade.

Director Kim also observed a water spray demonstration of the 'rough terrain pump truck,' which can effectively carry out firefighting operations in steep mountainous areas or places difficult to access on foot.
Director Kim stated, "A small spark of fire can lead to irreversible damage," and urged, "Please continue on-site inspections to minimize human casualties through swift and accurate response and to prevent wildfires."
Following the site inspection, Director Kim visited the Yangpyeong Fire Station and spent time communicating with the on-site personnel.
