Korea GM, March Sales 41,244 Units... 19% Decrease Year-on-Year

Korea GM announced on the 1st that it sold 41,244 units globally in March, a 19% decrease compared to the same month last year.

Overseas sales accounted for 39,847 units in March, representing 96% of total sales.

Among these, the Chevrolet Trax crossover (including derivative models) led the performance with 27,316 units sold, while the Chevrolet Trailblazer (including derivative models) sharply declined to half the previous year's sales (a 42% decrease), with 12,531 units sold.

GM Korea's domestic plant sold 1,397 units in the domestic market during March, of which 1,097 units were Chevrolet Trax crossovers.

Gustavo Colossi, Vice President of Sales, Service, and Marketing at Korea GM, said, "The Trax crossover and Trailblazer are proving their competitiveness as representative key strategic models of the Chevrolet brand," adding, "As we recently introduced the 25th anniversary Sierra Denali, the top trim of GMC, we will continue to launch premium models that reflect the brand's identity and technological capabilities."
