Moving Shelter at Citizen Plaza Added
Performance Applications Accepted Starting from the 3rd
Daejeon Tourism Organization announced that it will operate the Expo permanent busking performances from the 23rd until October.
Last year, 57 teams participated in the busking performances, presenting a variety of shows that received enthusiastic responses from local artists and Daejeon citizens.
This year, in addition to the two existing busking zones on Expo Bridge, a new location will be added inside the Moving Shelter at Citizen Plaza.
The performances will take place three times a day, in two-hour slots, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., every Wednesday to Sunday.
Applications to perform can be submitted through the Expo Citizen Plaza website starting from the 3rd, and will be approved after an internal review process.
The organization plans to support the use of electrical equipment, safety fences, shade structures, and lighting to ensure that performances are held in a safe and pleasant environment.
Yoon Sunguk, President of Daejeon Tourism Organization, said, "I hope that citizens can experience moments of happiness through the music and songs of buskers at Expo Bridge," adding, "We will continue to do our best to promote the development of cultural and artistic performances that all Daejeon citizens can enjoy together."
