People Power Party: "Democratic Party's 'Impeachment of All Cabinet Members' is Confession of Rebellion and Parliamentary Coup"

The People Power Party criticized the Democratic Party's first-term lawmakers for stating that if Ma Eun-hyuk, the nominee for Constitutional Court Justice, is not appointed, they will impeach all members of the State Council, including Han Deok-soo, the Acting President and Prime Minister, calling it a "confession of rebellion, a parliamentary coup."

Kim Ki-heung, spokesperson for the People Power Party, said in a statement on the 29th, "It was always a luxury to expect an apology from the Democratic Party for the 29 consecutive impeachments," expressing this view.

Spokesperson Kim added, "The Democratic Party's greed and impeachment frenzy show no signs of stopping," and said, "They say 'numbers are bullies' when it comes to seats, but isn't this going too far?" He continued, "They have no regard for the people, the economy, livelihoods, or wildfire victims; is the appointment of Ma Eun-hyuk the only priority?"

He further stated, "Beyond consecutive impeachments, even 'impeaching the entire State Council'?this is the Democratic Party's class," adding, "It seems they don't care if the constitutional order of the Republic of Korea collapses as long as they pave a smooth path for Representative Lee Jae-myung."
