"The People's Patience Has Limits"
Park Ji-won, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized the Constitutional Court's ruling on the impeachment trial of President Yoon Seok-yeol, saying, "The Constitutional Court's wrong decision and delayed ruling could lead to riots."

On the morning of the 29th, Park posted on Facebook, stating, "The Constitutional Court continues to deliberate without immediately ruling to dismiss Yoon Seok-yeol."
He added, "The patience and waiting of the people are reaching a critical point," and said, "If the 'infertile Constitutional Court' continues, the National Assembly will have no choice but to turn the government, which has only exercised veto power, into an 'infertile government,' and there are more than enough means and methods to do so, as much as the reasons for dismissal."
Park said, "The Constitutional Court should issue the dismissal ruling by the 31st of this month, the 4th of next month, or at worst by the 11th of next month, before the last term of the two Constitutional Court justices ends, and must provide advance notice and explanations to the public before the ruling." He continued, "If this continues, there will be public riots," and "All responsibility for this lies with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea and the justices."
The Constitutional Court did not set a ruling date for President Yoon's impeachment trial by the 28th, postponing the ruling to next month.
There is an assessment that if the impeachment ruling date exceeds the 18th of next month, it may be practically difficult to issue the ruling. Acting Chief Justice Moon Hyung-bae and Justice Lee Mi-seon will retire on the 18th of next month, changing the Constitutional Court to a 'six-member system.' The Constitutional Court Act stipulates that cases must be heard with at least seven justices present, which could turn the court into a 'dormant Constitutional Court.'
