'Insulting the Statue of a Girl' US YouTuber, What Was He Doing Around the Constitutional Court?

Video Shows Him Wandering Near the Constitutional Court Area
Currently Banned from Leaving the Country... On Trial for Obstruction of Business and Other Charges

YouTuber Johny Somali (real name Ramsey Khaled Ismail), who was prosecuted for various misbehaviors in Korea, appeared at an anti-impeachment protest against President Yoon Suk-yeol.

On the 27th, Somali released a video on his live streaming channel showing himself wandering around the Constitutional Court area near Anguk Station.

Somali received paper placards distributed by supporters of President Yoon and shouted "CCP (Chinese Communist Party) out," shook hands with protesters, and gave a military salute to the camera. On the same day, he was hit on the head by a passerby who recognized him near Jongno 5-ga Station.

This video of Somali spread through online communities and social networking services (SNS).

Somali, a Jewish American, is notorious for creating content that involves causing public nuisance or insulting locals through sexual harassment and profanity in public places overseas.

In Korea, he kissed the 'Statue of Peace' and last October disrupted business at a convenience store in Mapo-gu, Seoul, by playing music and dancing. When an employee tried to stop him, he spilled cup noodle broth on the table and uttered profanities.

He also carried a bag of foul-smelling fish on the street to annoy passersby and caused disturbances on public transportation such as buses and subways.

Somali is currently banned from leaving the country by the Korean government and is facing trial on charges including obstruction of business while out on bail.

Somali also caused controversy for his rude attitude during a trial held last month at the Seoul Western District Court Criminal Division 1 (Judge Park Ji-won). He attempted to enter the courtroom wearing a red hat with the phrase 'Make America Great Again' (MAGA) but was stopped due to regulations. After the trial, he told reporters that "Korea is a vassal state of the United States."
