Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Encourages 'Red Road Guardians' Our Neighborhood Tourism Environment Security Officers

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the 'Our Neighborhood Tourism Environment Guardians Inauguration Ceremony' held at the Mapo District Office auditorium on the afternoon of March 28.

'Our Neighborhood Tourism Environment Guardians' play a significant role in creating a pleasant and safe tourism environment by inspecting pedestrian conditions around the Red Road area and conducting nighttime patrols.

At the inauguration ceremony, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, appointed 40 volunteers who will serve as tourism environment guardians.

Afterwards, the tourism environment guardians solidified their strong commitment to the development of tourism in Mapo with a pledge announcing a vigorous start.

Mayor Park Gang-su expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thanks to all the Our Neighborhood Tourism Environment Guardians, we were able to get through the busy year-end and New Year period without any major accidents." He added, "As the number of tourists increases on the Red Road, the role of the tourism environment guardians becomes even more important," and requested, "We ask for your continued interest and participation to ensure a safe and pleasant Red Road."

Finally, Mayor Park Gang-su emphasized, "Mapo District will uphold the principle that 'there is no overreaction when it comes to safety' and will do its best to create a safer and happier Mapo."
