Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) announced on the 29th that it recently operated a 'mobile promotional booth' at the campuses of Chosun University (25th), Gwangju National University of Education (26th), and Chonnam National University (27th) to promote the recruitment of preliminary tenants for Happy Housing and to provide education on preventing youth jeonse fraud.

The Happy Housing units (Gwangju Station, Seorim Village), which were announced for recruitment on the 18th, have significantly relaxed eligibility requirements for university students, newlyweds, and young people taking their first steps into society to ensure housing stability. By providing a stable and comfortable living environment to various groups in need of housing, the initiative is taking a step ahead in realizing youth housing welfare in the Gwangju area.

Additionally, as jeonse fraud targeting people in their 20s and 30s has become a social issue, the corporation went beyond simple counseling for victims and provided advance education and guidance so that young people can prevent damage themselves when signing jeonse contracts.

Applications for preliminary tenants for Happy Housing will be accepted from the 1st to the 4th of next month at the management offices of Gwangju Station Happy Housing and Seorim Village Happy Housing. Both in-person and registered mail applications are available.

For more details, please refer to the rental announcement section on the Gwangju Urban Corporation website. For other housing-related inquiries, consultation is available through the Gwangju City Comprehensive Housing Welfare Center and the Rental Housing Call Center.
