Launching with the First Limited Edition "Launch Series"
Tesla Korea announced on the 28th that it will launch the partially updated 'Model Y' in the domestic market starting from the 2nd of next month.
The new Model Y will be available in three trims: rear-wheel drive (RWD), all-wheel drive Long Range, and Tesla's first limited edition, the Launch Series. The domestic prices are 52.99 million KRW for the RWD, 63.14 million KRW for the Long Range, and 73 million KRW for the Launch Series.
The Long Range and Launch Series trims offer a maximum driving range of 476 km and an energy efficiency of 5.4 km/kWh based on domestic certification standards. The RWD trim provides a maximum driving range of 400 km and an energy efficiency of 5.6 km/kWh.
The exterior of the partially updated Model Y has been reinterpreted with a futuristic design inspired by the Tesla Cybertruck and Cyber Cap.
The front features a cross light bar that effectively disperses impact, while the rear is equipped with the world's first integrated indirect reflective taillights, giving a feel similar to a rocket afterburner.
Inside, ambient lighting creates a cozy atmosphere, and premium materials along with ventilated front seats have been applied.
The second row seats and headrests have been widened and include an electric folding function. A newly added 8-inch display allows second-row passengers to enjoy personal entertainment.
The Launch Series will begin customer deliveries next month, and the RWD and Long Range trims will be delivered sequentially starting in May.
