This suspension bridge, measuring 515 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width, is the first suspension bridge constructed over the Han River. It was completed with a total project cost of 33.2 billion KRW, including 10.6 billion KRW in funding from Gyeonggi Province's regional balanced development project. It was built to strengthen pedestrian-centered tourism infrastructure and to revitalize local tourism.

With the completion of the suspension bridge, Yeoju City now has a new landmark spanning the Han River. It is expected to significantly contribute to expanding tourist inflow and revitalizing the local economy.

Additionally, the city plans to hold an opening ceremony on May 1st to commemorate the completion of the suspension bridge. Along with the ceremony, Yeoju City will declare the "Year of Tourism" to announce its leap forward as a new tourist attraction.

A Yeoju City official stated, "The suspension bridge has been safely completed," and added, "We hope that with the official opening ceremony on May 1st and the declaration of the 'Year of Tourism,' the tourism industry will achieve great development."
