Exploring Ways to Contribute to the Advancement of National Employment Policy

This seminar was held to commemorate the 19th anniversary of the Korea Employment Information Service. It aimed to introduce the current status and development directions of 'Employment24,' a digital employment service platform that incorporates the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology and improves user convenience, while discussing the progress of field-based employment policy implementation.
At the event, a discussion was also held to explore ways for the Korea Employment Information Service to contribute to national employment policy and the development of employment services. Government officials and academic experts participating in the discussion engaged in in-depth conversations focusing on issues in employment vulnerable areas.
In his commemorative speech, Lee Chang-su, President of the Korea Employment Information Service, stated, "In the midst of AI and the digital revolution and the rapidly changing global economic environment, the provision of employment information and the role of employment services are becoming increasingly important." He added, "This year, we will pursue three major tasks: innovation and advancement of digital employment services, support for employment policies to respond to population decline and labor market uncertainties, and establishment of a sustainable management system for the institution."
