According to Yonhap News and others, Cardi B posted a video on her TikTok on the 13th introducing her recent health care method, showing herself taking red ginseng. She said, "Maybe because I'm in my 30s or because I recently gave birth, I've been feeling very sleepy and tired these days," adding, "Traveling between Miami, LA, and New York has accumulated a lot of fatigue, but after taking Korea's red ginseng 'Everytime,' I feel completely awake."
Cardi B expressed satisfaction, saying, "Even when I drink coffee, I keep feeling sleepy and only get more hungry, but red ginseng has a strong taste so I can't take it on an empty stomach, but if I take one after breakfast every day, I stay awake continuously."
She also added, "Red ginseng is known to boost immunity, and maybe because of that, my mind feels clearer and my appetite seems to decrease," and said, "I don't know where Koreans found this, but if you're very tired and drained, I recommend 'this' (red ginseng)."
Overseas netizens who saw the video responded with comments such as "I wonder what it tastes like" and "Korea cares more about health compared to the U.S."
According to KGC Ginseng Corporation, the products Cardi B introduced are 'CheongKwanJang Everytime 2000mg' and 'Everytime Lemon,' which are sold in the U.S. A KGC Ginseng Corporation official said, "The reaction from Americans to the video where top U.S. rapper Cardi B mentioned Everytime is very enthusiastic," adding, "We will actively target the global market through proactive development of locally customized products and expansion of distribution networks."
Cardi B is a globally influential female rapper, being the first female solo artist to win the 'Best Rap Album' category at the Grammy Awards and achieving multiple number one spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She has previously shown interest in Korean food. In March last year, she posted a video eating Samyang Foods' 'Carbo Buldak,' which garnered over 32 million views within a month, creating a huge sensation. She has also shared videos and photos of eating Korean-style hot dogs, tteokbokki, kimchi, and more.
