The Policy Research Office and Gender Impact Assessment Center of the Chungnam Social Service Institute announced on the 27th that they held an appointment ceremony for consultants and the first capacity-building training session for research and policy on gender impact assessment and gender-responsive budgeting and settlement.

The training covered the revised contents of the next-generation local finance management system 'e-Hojo+', methods and references for gender-responsive budgeting and settlement consulting, and case studies by project.

In addition, a comprehensive discussion was held to establish effective consulting strategies, such as strengthening communication with public officials in charge of the target projects, based on the training content.

The 21 consultants appointed on this day are expected to support gender impact assessment and gender-responsive budgeting and settlement consulting for the province, cities and counties, and the office of education.
