Dobong-gu 'Joint Memorial Altar for Large Wildfire Victims' Established and Operated

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) set up a joint memorial altar in the lobby on the first floor of Dobong-gu Office on the 27th to mourn the victims of the large-scale wildfire. The joint memorial altar will be open until April 2, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

That morning, Mayor Oh Eon-seok visited the joint memorial altar to pay tribute to the victims with flower offerings and a moment of silence. Mayor Oh said, “I pray for the souls of the victims who lost their lives in this large-scale wildfire,” and added, “I sincerely hope that the rapid containment of the wildfire will allow residents in the affected areas to restore their daily lives as soon as possible. The district will spare no effort in providing support and cooperation for the affected areas.”

That morning, the district held an emergency meeting to assess the damage to residents and discuss support measures for the affected areas. The district decided to closely monitor the situation in the affected areas and provide relief supplies needed there, including 150 blankets.
