Guri-si Operates '2025 Cost ZERO Employment Support Program'

New Vitality Expected for the Local Economy Through Free Employment Training and Support Programs

Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 27th that it will promote the ‘2025 Cost ZERO Employment Support Program,’ which provides free employment competency enhancement programs to citizens to support job creation.

This project was planned to support various job seekers such as youth seeking employment, experienced women, and middle-aged individuals through the Guri City Job Center and the Women’s New Employment Center by offering ▲customized employment consulting ▲employment motivation ▲skills acquisition training programs.

The Job Center will produce 267 graduates in 15 fields including the ‘Architectural Painting Technician Training Course,’ and the Women’s New Employment Center will produce 108 graduates in 6 fields including ‘Character Emoticon Creation Specialist.’ Over the course of 2025, a total of 375 employment skills graduates will be produced across 21 fields. Through this, the plan is not only to increase employment rates numerically but also to enhance the quality of employment by providing high-skilled and high value-added vocational education and training.

A representative from the Women’s New Employment Center stated, “We planned the employment education programs reflecting job demand and employment trends so that job seekers can gain competitiveness in the job market,” adding, “This will be a great opportunity to receive professional employment support without economic burden.”
