Singer Park Seojin announced on the 27th that he donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support the wildfire damage in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
On the same day, his agency Jangguuisin Company stated, "Park Seojin decided to donate the entire prize money from winning MBN's 'Active King 2'." The agency explained that while hoping the prize money would be used meaningfully, they decided to donate after learning about the wildfire damage. The donation will be used for recovery of the affected areas and support for disaster victims.
Park Seojin has shown care and shared warmth by supporting youth scholarships, single mothers, patients with incurable diseases, and abandoned dogs. Recently, he donated 10 million won to the international relief NGO World Vision, and a total of 27.8 million won to his hometown Samcheonpo General Social Welfare Center, Samcheonpo Elementary School, a shelter for severely disabled residents in Seoul, and the Dongnae, Sasang, and Jin District Offices in Busan.
Meanwhile, Park Seojin is currently appearing on MBN's 'Korea-Japan Top Ten Show' and KBS variety show 'Men Who Do Housework Season 2'.
