Damyang County Provides Volunteer Training for National Sports Festival for All

The Damyang-gun Volunteer Center in Jeonnam announced on the 27th that it held volunteer training for 40 participants on the 25th at the Sigyeongjeong Room in the county office in preparation for the 2025 Jeon-guk Saenghwal Cheyuk Daechukjeon.

The training included a basic orientation to strengthen capabilities, such as an overview of the national sports festival and the roles and attitudes of volunteers, followed by a safety education session in cooperation with the Damyang Fire Station, including CPR training.

One of the volunteers who participated in the training shared, "I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the role of a volunteer, and the CPR training was especially helpful in developing the ability to respond effectively in real-life situations."

A county official stated, "Including this training, we are thoroughly preparing so that volunteers can smoothly support the operation of the event," adding, "We will do our best to ensure a safe and successful festival."

Meanwhile, the 2025 Jeon-guk Saenghwal Cheyuk Daechukjeon will be held over two days from the 26th to the 27th of next month at Damyang Culture Center, Eco Industrial Complex, and Geumseongsan area. The featured events are bodybuilding and cycling.
