KT Membership to Remove Discount Limits from May... Partnership Stores Also Expanded

KT announced on the 27th that it will remove the membership points limit and expand its partners starting May 8. The aim is to eliminate the annual discount limits by membership tier and allow customers to freely use the benefits.

Currently, KT Membership provides annual discount limits of 150,000 points for VVIP tier, 120,000 points for VIP, 100,000 points for Gold, 70,000 points for Silver, and 50,000 points for White.

With this revision, VVIP tier customers will no longer be restricted to using benefits only within the annual 150,000 points limit, and will be able to continuously enjoy VVIP Choice benefits as well as ongoing benefits such as movies and dining. General tier customers can also enjoy various partner brand benefits in shopping, cafes, bakeries, etc., without separate point accumulation. However, tier requirements and usage conditions by partner companies remain the same as before.

Additionally, KT will strengthen the "Dal.Dal.Benefits" event held from the 15th to the end of each month, limited to May. In May, dining and theme park partner benefits have been enhanced, and all partner benefits under the "Family Collection" can be used concurrently. Furthermore, about 20 benefits including Paris Baguette and Lotte Cinema will be provided.

KT plans to expand new benefits mainly in leisure, dining, and lifestyle-oriented brands in the first half of the year. In April, new partnerships will be formed with Banolim Pizza, Lotte Rent-a-Car's "Chabangjeong (Vehicle Visit Maintenance Service)," and "Good Doctor," among others. In May, ongoing benefits will be added in leisure and shopping sectors, with more than 10 new partners expected to be added by the first half of the year.

Moreover, KT will strengthen specialized benefits for VIP customers and increase lifestyle-oriented products in the membership-exclusive commerce platform "Madeullan" within this year. For cultural benefits, April will feature the "Sacred Night" event, May will have the "Mission: Impossible" movie preview event, and the "Warner Bronkhost" docent tour will also be held in May.

Kim Young-geol, Head of KT Service Product Division (Executive Director), said, "KT Membership is focusing on enhancing services that are convenient for customers to use and differentiated benefits," adding, "Through this revision, we will improve the ease of use of membership benefits and expand benefits that satisfy customers of all ages and tiers in the long term."
