The Korean Red Cross (President Kim Cheolsu) announced on the 27th that its ambassadors, actor Ahn Jae-wook and singer Loco, each donated 20 million won to aid in the recovery from the large-scale wildfire damage.
Ambassador Ahn Jae-wook said, "Although it may not be a large amount, I hope it can be of some help to all those affected by the wildfire," and added, "I hope the firefighters and volunteers working hard to extinguish the fire, as well as the disaster victims burdened with great sorrow, will stay strong."
Ahn Jae-wook has been serving as a Korean Red Cross ambassador since 2016 and is a member of the high-donor group ‘Korean Red Cross Honors Club,’ actively donating to support COVID-19, wildfires, floods, earthquakes, and vulnerable groups. He has also consistently participated in volunteer activities such as wildfire damage site volunteering, Turkey earthquake relief volunteering, and voice talent donations, spreading positive influence.

Ambassador Loco said, "I hope this can be of even a little help to those affected by the wildfire," and added, "I hope the residents can regain their peaceful daily lives as soon as possible." Since being appointed as a Korean Red Cross ambassador in 2018, Loco has made donations for various disasters and families in crisis, and has spread positive influence through sharing activities such as supporting handmade burgers for vulnerable children and volunteering in baking activities.
Kim Cheolsu, President of the Korean Red Cross, expressed gratitude for their sincere donations and continuous humanitarian efforts, saying, "We will do our best to help the wildfire victims return to their daily lives quickly."
