Gyeonggi-do Provides Up to 8 Million KRW per Company to 130 SMEs Participating in Exhibitions

Gyeonggi Province will provide up to 8 million KRW to companies participating in domestic and international exhibitions to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop sales channels and strengthen export competitiveness.


On the 27th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will recruit companies to participate in the 'Domestic and International Exhibition Support Project' by April 11th, to enable SMEs in the province to secure continuous competitiveness and expand opportunities to enter domestic and overseas markets amid the uncertain global trade environment triggered by the United States' strengthened protectionism.


Gyeonggi Province plans to support companies' needs in a customized manner by allowing them to autonomously select the exhibitions they wish to participate in and freely attend promising domestic and international exhibitions.

Gyeonggi Province will select 130 SMEs located in the province, including 67 companies participating in domestic exhibitions and 63 companies participating in overseas exhibitions, and provide up to 3 million KRW per company for domestic exhibitions and up to 8 million KRW for overseas exhibitions.


The main support items include ▲booth rental fees ▲installation costs ▲transportation fees for exhibition items ▲promotion expenses, among others.

Park Kyung-seo, Director of the International Trade Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "In an unstable trade environment, this project will reduce the burden of exhibition participation for SMEs in the province and lay the foundation for each company’s desired entry into the global market."
