Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Attends 2025 Resident Autonomy Committee Appointment Ceremony

On the morning of the 25th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the ‘Resident Autonomy Committee Member’ appointment ceremony held in the main auditorium on the 2nd floor of Nowon-gu Office, and embarked on a new start together with the newly formed resident autonomy committee members.

The 2025 Nowon-gu Resident Autonomy Association began recruiting members from November last year, and after resident autonomy education and a public lottery, selected 340 new members, completing a total of 851 members.

The 340 appointed resident autonomy committee members will carry out various activities for regional development and the improvement of residents’ welfare during their term from February 21, 2025, to February 20, 2027.

At the appointment ceremony, about 350 people including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, city and district council members, and related officials attended. A plaque of appreciation was presented to the former chairman, and appointment letters were delivered to the newly elected Resident Autonomy Association chairman and committee members.

After the commemorative photo session, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, shared congratulatory remarks and the vision for district administration.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I sincerely congratulate and thank all the members appointed today,” and added, “As key agents leading regional development, I look forward to the proactive activities each of you will demonstrate in the future.”
