Worker in His 50s Dies at Asan Apartment Construction Site

At around 2:32 p.m. on the 25th, an accident occurred at an apartment construction site in Baebang-eup, Asan-si, Chungnam, resulting in the death of a worker in his 50s, identified as Mr. A.

According to the Cheonan branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and fire authorities, Mr. A was rescued while hanging from a rope 150 meters above the ground together with site personnel, but was found in cardiac arrest and transported to a nearby hospital.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor, police, and other authorities are on site investigating the details of the accident and whether safety regulations were followed.
