As Part of the Healthcare Food Pack Program
Delivered Through the Korea National Council on Social Welfare
Kwangdong Pharmaceutical announced on the 25th that it has urgently provided relief supplies to disaster victims affected by wildfires in Sancheong, Gyeongnam, and Uiseong and Andong, Gyeongbuk.
This support was carried out through the 'Healthcare Food Pack' program jointly operated by Kwangdong Pharmaceutical, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare (National Food Bank), delivering the company's Sunkist beverages to the affected areas.
A Kwangdong Pharmaceutical official said, "We decided to provide emergency support with the hope of offering a small comfort to those suffering from sudden disasters," adding, "We will continue to listen to voices from the field and strive to provide practical assistance."
Meanwhile, Kwangdong Pharmaceutical has been delivering its products to disaster sites as part of its relief efforts. In July last year, it supported flood-affected areas with Vita 500 and barley grass tea. In February this year, it provided Vita 500 and corn silk tea to vulnerable groups during the severe cold period, helping them recover their daily lives.
