Gongju City Launches One-Stop Investment Promotion Support Team...Tailored Assistance

Gongju City in South Chungcheong Province has launched the 'One-Stop Investment Promotion Support Team' to actively attract corporate investment and provide customized services for businesses.

On the 25th, Gongju City announced that it has established the One-Stop Investment Promotion Support Team, a dedicated channel to attract and closely support corporate investment, at the Daebaekje Room in City Hall, with Choi Byeongjo, Director of Economic and Cultural Affairs, and Jeong Jaewook, Head of the Investment Promotion Office, in attendance.

The Investment Promotion Support Team consists of 21 members, including staff from eight cooperating departments such as permits, water supply, and electricity, centered around the Investment Promotion Office, which was newly established through an organizational restructuring in January.

The team plans to actively carry out corporate consultations and investment briefings, support for tax reductions, administrative procedures related to design and construction, infrastructure support such as electricity, gas, and fire safety, and address difficulties and regulatory innovation across three stages: from planning to agreement, implementation, and post-management.

In particular, the team will provide prompt and performance-oriented customized services to resolve complex administrative procedures and inter-agency coordination issues in the permit process for corporate investments.

Through this, the city plans to establish a collaborative system among organizations and departments to effectively solve issues related to investment and factory establishment regulations, permit application procedures, and tax reductions faced by companies.

Additionally, for regulatory matters requiring long-term review, the city will actively support the creation of a smooth investment environment for companies by cooperating with relevant agencies such as Chungnam Province and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to promote regulatory improvements.

Choi Byeongjo, Director of Economic and Cultural Affairs, stated, "Successful private sector investment attraction is a key factor in revitalizing the local economy," and added, "Through the one-stop investment promotion service, we will provide the best administrative support to ensure corporate satisfaction."
