Gwangju KEF Promotes ESG Management Boom Among Local Companies

The Gwangju Employers Federation (Chairman Yang Jinseok, Chairman of Howon Co., Ltd. and Happiness CC) is actively promoting the ESG management trend, which is emerging worldwide, by guiding its member companies and playing a leading role in creating momentum.

According to the Gwangju Employers Federation on the 25th, 70% of its member companies are manufacturing businesses. Accordingly, the Federation is advising that ESG management?based on the K-ESG management guidelines and encompassing Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G) including information disclosure?must be implemented properly.

With 766 member companies, it is now a crucial time for the Gwangju Employers Federation to pursue ESG management strategies that fully reflect the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises for the successful establishment and sustainable development of ESG management.
