Vaccination Costs to Be Subsidized for 17,380 Unvaccinated Residents
On the 25th, the Ulju County Public Health Center signed a business agreement with designated herpes zoster vaccination medical institutions in the main auditorium of the government building to promote the '2025 Herpes Zoster Vaccination Support Project.'
The signing ceremony was attended by the head of the Ulju County Public Health Center and representatives from 25 hospitals and clinics selected as designated vaccination institutions. During the event, business contracts were signed, designation certificates were awarded, and the project was explained with a request for cooperation.
According to this agreement, vaccination costs will be subsidized for 17,380 unvaccinated residents aged 50 and older in Ulju County.
Starting from the 25th, vaccinations will be provided to basic livelihood security recipients aged 65 and older, and from June 5, the support will be expanded to all county residents aged 50 and above who have no prior vaccination history.
The Ulju County Public Health Center will provide administrative support such as project promotion, supplying vaccines to medical institutions, and reimbursement of implementation costs. The 25 designated hospitals and clinics will verify eligible recipients and carry out vaccinations sequentially.
A representative from the Ulju County Public Health Center stated, "Through this agreement, we will reduce the medical expenses of Ulju County residents and strengthen cooperation with medical institutions for the efficient provision of health services," adding, "We will do our best to enhance vaccination convenience and promote the health of local residents."
