Hana Bank announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement for account-based payment business cooperation with Qubank Co., Ltd., a company specializing in integrated QR code payment solutions for merchants, at the Hana Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Through this agreement, the two companies will integrate the payment QR codes individually provided by PAY operators worldwide into a single 'Hana One Q QR code' to create a convenient payment environment. In addition, by enabling account-based payments, they aim to reduce payment fees for small business owners and support faster deposit of payment funds.
To this end, the two companies will promote innovation in domestic and international QR payment infrastructure, including ▲ Hana One Q domestic and overseas merchant integrated QR code payment service ▲ Hana EZ foreigner-exclusive domestic merchant integrated QR code payment service, and cooperate on various small business support policies using QR codes such as ▲ small business merchant payment fee discounts ▲ next-day deposit of small business payment funds ▲ B2B payments between companies.
Through this agreement, Hana Bank customers will be able to use the QR codes of 104 simple payment PAY companies in 28 countries worldwide as a single integrated QR code. This supports customers to enjoy a more convenient and easy simple payment environment along with existing payment methods such as 'Hana PAY' and 'GLN'.
Seo Yoo-seok, Vice President of Hana Bank Corporate Group, said, "We have prepared services that provide practical help to both customers and small business owners in the growing simple payment market," adding, "This service will be applied not only to Hana One Q but also to Hana EZ, providing a financial environment that foreign customers visiting Korea can use easily and conveniently."
