Expanding Customer Engagement and BEREX Brand Awareness Through Sports Marketing
Coway announced on the 25th that it has signed a partnership with the Kiwoom Heroes and will act as a sponsor for the 2025 season to mark the opening of the professional baseball season.
Coway established this partnership to expand its customer base and approach various consumers more familiarly by utilizing professional baseball, which is receiving high interest across all age groups. Based on the partnership with the Kiwoom Heroes, Coway plans to broaden its contact points with professional baseball fans and continuously raise brand awareness of its sleep and healing care brand BEREX.
As part of this partnership, Coway will carry out various promotions and marketing activities, including BEREX advertisements, at the Kiwoom Heroes' home stadium, Gocheok Sky Dome. In addition, Coway will install the popular BEREX product ‘Triple Chair’ in the Kiwoom Heroes players’ locker rooms and lounges to support players’ rest and condition management.
Furthermore, Coway will hold events for Heroes fans visiting the stadium and Coway customers. A Coway representative said, “Through the partnership with the Kiwoom Heroes, we expect it to be an opportunity to approach professional baseball fans, who have formed a strong fandom, more familiarly and communicate actively,” adding, “We plan to actively promote marketing activities that can increase intimacy with various customer groups in the future.”
