Voluntary Participation of Alumni from the Department of Youth Education and Counseling, Classes of 1996 to 2021

Soonchunhyang University announced on the 24th that graduates of the Department of Youth Education and Counseling gifted a coffee truck to their alma mater to show support for President Song Byungkuk.
The event was organized by graduates Kim Ihyun (class of 2007), Lee Subin (class of 2008), and Lee Boram (class of 2009), in celebration of President Song's inauguration, who was formerly a professor in the Department of Youth Education and Counseling.
As news of the event spread among alumni, over 100 graduates from the class of 1996 to the class of 2021 participated, raising more funds than initially planned and expanding the scale of the event.
Kim Ihyun stated, "I thought this was an opportunity to return the love and support that Professor Song has always given us."
President Song said, "It was not just a cup of coffee, but a profound affection and love that cannot be expressed in words," adding, "I will do my best to carry on the Soonchunhyang spirit of 'love for humanity' and achieve a 'greater Soonchunhyang' in the future."
Meanwhile, President Song was inaugurated on the 1st of this month. After earning his master's and doctoral degrees in education from Seoul National University, he worked as a researcher at the Korea Educational Development Institute and has served as a professor at Soonchunhyang University since 1996.
