The Administrative Innovation Advisory Committee was launched in August 2023 to provide advisory roles on major city policies and regional development, and is composed of six divisions (Administrative Innovation, Education·Sports·Social Affairs, Culture·Tourism, Economy·Jobs, Urban Balanced Development, and Military-Civil Cooperation).
At this meeting, the results of the second half of 2024 policy research projects (including measures to attract national projects for Yangju’s leap forward and one other project) were shared, expert advisory opinions on major city issues were heard, and policy proposals necessary for Yangju in the future were discussed.
In particular, it was a meaningful time to hear experts’ opinions on plans to revitalize support policies for single-person households in Yangju, activate schools in the western region, and create a pet-friendly city.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun stated, “The diverse opinions and proposals of the Administrative Innovation Advisory Committee members will greatly help in establishing Yangju’s policies,” adding, “We will create changes that citizens can feel through the practical reflection of policies.”
