Russia: "Discussing Mutually Beneficial Areas"
The North Korean government economic delegation visiting Russia is also expected to visit Russian companies and production facilities.
On the 21st (local time), the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources announced this in a statement. According to the statement, the North Korean delegation led by Foreign Economic Minister Yoon Jeong-ho plans to share experiences by visiting various companies and production facilities in addition to holding official meetings with Russian government officials.
Additionally, the Ministry of Natural Resources explained that the North Korean delegation is holding talks in Moscow within the framework of the North Korea-Russia government 'Trade, Economic, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation Committee,' and various economic cooperation issues were raised during the meeting.
Alexander Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and the Russian representative, said, "The intergovernmental committee signifies continuous cooperation. What we discuss are traditional interactions and mutually beneficial areas such as industry, agriculture, transportation infrastructure, education, and culture."
