Delta Air Lines unveiled a specially painted aircraft to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
According to the aviation industry on the 21st, Delta Air Lines held the 'Delta Centennial Gala' at its museum, the Delta Flight Museum, on the 15th (local time) to commemorate its 100th anniversary. The event was attended not only by employees, partners, and customers but also by former Delta Air Lines CEOs Ron Allen, Leo Mullin, and Richard Anderson.
Delta Air Lines explained that the newly revealed aircraft livery embodies the corporate philosophy commemorating a century of the airline's innovation, resilience, and the efforts of its employees who have led the company together. The design features a 100th-anniversary emblem placed on the side of the aircraft and the introduction of a silver super graphic on the tail for the first time.
A Delta Air Lines representative said, "Thanks to the strong spirit and warm service of our employees, we have established ourselves as a global leading airline. This will be the driving force to once again lead Delta Air Lines' innovation and preserve its legacy for the next 100 years."
