Hankook Tire Unveils 'Aion' at North America's Largest Electric Vehicle Expo

Orlando Electrify Expo in the United States

Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) announced on the 21st that it will participate in the 'Electrify Expo' held in Orlando, USA, on the 22nd (local time).

Electrify Expo is the largest electric vehicle exhibition in North America. Since its first event in 2021, global automakers and key companies in the electric vehicle industry have participated to share trends in electric vehicle technology and innovative mobility solutions.

Starting in Orlando, Hankook Tire will sponsor the experience zone 'Demo District' at all events held in eight locations across the U.S., including Los Angeles (LA), San Francisco, and New York, through October. It will also operate exhibition booths in four major locations such as Dallas and Chicago to showcase the technology of 'iON,' the world's first full-lineup electric vehicle dedicated tire brand.

iON features the electric vehicle specialized technology 'iON Innovative Technology,' boasting balanced performance in grip, handling, braking, low noise, energy efficiency, and mileage. Visitors can see iON, the official tire of electric vehicle racing competitions, as well as the performance model 'iON evo,' the all-season model 'iON evo AS,' and the winter model 'iON iCEPT.'

Meanwhile, Hankook Tire continues to strengthen its premium brand communication by consistently participating in major global exhibitions such as Electrify Expo, the largest automotive parts exhibition in North America 'SEMA Show,' and the European international tire exhibition 'The Tire Cologne.'
