Move-in to Ansan Advanced Defense Industry Complex and Taprip-Jeonmin District Industrial Complex

Daejeon City announced on the 19th that it had signed investment memorandums of understanding (MOUs) worth 51.2 billion KRW with six promising domestic companies in the main conference room at City Hall.
The MOUs include the companies' plans to relocate to or newly invest in Daejeon, as well as Daejeon City's administrative and financial support for smooth investment processes, and joint cooperation measures for job creation and regional economic development.
According to the agreement, three companies will invest in the Ansan Advanced Defense Industry Complex in Yuseong-gu: StepLab Co., Ltd., a venture company specializing in space machinery systems and mechanisms; L2K Plus Co., Ltd., a company in the laser optics field such as laser processing machines and laser modules; and TovTech Co., Ltd., a company specializing in the development and manufacturing of underwater weapon systems.
In the Taprip-Jeonmin District Industrial Complex, The Sentec Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of 3D printing materials and metal separators for hydrogen fuel cells based on Arc Ion Plating (AIP) coating technology, will move in. In the Dungok District Industrial Complex, LNE Co., Ltd., which specializes in special welding and precision machining for the military, space, and aviation industries, will invest.
In the Pyeongchon General Industrial Complex in Seo-gu, FineSNS Co., Ltd., an electrical and electronic materials and components defense-tech company, plans to expand its mass production capabilities for its developed products through investment.
Including this round of investment attraction, the city analyzed that since the launch of the 8th popularly elected administration, it has secured a total of 2.4794 trillion KRW in investments from 91 promising domestic and foreign companies, creating 4,729 jobs.
Lee Jangwoo, Mayor of Daejeon, said, "I deeply thank the company representatives who believed in Daejeon's potential and made bold investment decisions despite fierce global competition and an uncertain economic environment," adding, "We will spare no effort in providing full support so that the future envisioned by companies can become a reality."
