Guri City Council Opens 347th Extraordinary Session... Submission of General and Special Account Supplementary Budgets

The Guri City Council of Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Shin Dong-hwa) announced on the 19th that it will hold the 347th Guri City Council extraordinary session for 8 days from the 24th to the 31st in the council plenary hall to deliberate and resolve agenda items such as city administration questions and answers and the 1st supplementary general and special account budget proposal.

The urgent issue questions, which were submitted as agenda items in the 345th and 346th extraordinary sessions but were not proceeded with, will be replaced by city administration questions and answers, securing sufficient time for questions and answers between council members and the mayor, and allowing supplementary questions and answers as well. In addition, the 1st supplementary general and special account budget proposal will be submitted and deliberated and resolved over three days?on the 25th, 27th, and 28th?through the Budget and Accounts Special Committee.

Chairman Shin Dong-hwa said, “Regarding the suspension of the relocation procedure of Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH), we plan to inform citizens in the plenary hall through the city administration questions and answers, addressing various concerns.” He added, “The Guri City Council will continuously strive to satisfy citizens’ right to know and ensure that the executive body moves in a desirable direction.”
