Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province selected 11 "Pyeongtaek City Certified Excellent Accommodation Facilities" and held a certificate awarding ceremony on the 18th. This certification was conducted as part of providing reliable accommodation infrastructure to external visitors to the city.

The excellent accommodation facilities selected this time are ▲Belle (Pyeongtaek-dong) ▲Owolsoop (Hapjeong-dong) ▲La Seine Hotel (Doil-dong) ▲Sartoria (Godeok-dong) ▲Central Person Hotel (Seojeong-dong) ▲Hound Hotel Godeok (Godeok-dong) ▲Hi & Hotel (Godeok-dong) ▲Hotel Summit (Godeok-dong) ▲Hotel XYM (Doil-dong) ▲The Intera Hotel Pyeongtaek (Poseung-eup) ▲Kate Lee Hotel Pyeongtaek (Poseung-eup).
For this certification, 27 businesses that received a green grade in the public hygiene service evaluation applied. The city explained that certified businesses were selected through document screening and on-site evaluation regarding ▲room cleanliness ▲fire safety facilities status ▲business customer convenience ▲foreign customer service ▲management status of ancillary facilities such as information desks and parking lots.
Certified businesses receive a "Designated Excellent Accommodation Facility" sign and certificate, as well as operational supplies. The city plans to promote these businesses through the city newsletter, the city's official social networking services (SNS), and related organizations.
Jung Jang-seon, mayor of Pyeongtaek City, said, "We will seek various support measures so that the selected facilities can operate as representative accommodations of the city."
