'Traditional Market Day' is a regular monthly event organized by Hanam City, planned in cooperation with Mayor Lee Hyun-jae and local organizations to revitalize traditional markets and support small business owners. The event also aimed to reemphasize the value of traditional markets and encourage participation from local residents.

From 2 PM to 4 PM that day, Mayor Lee Hyun-jae, along with Kim Tae-hyung, Chairman of Ganaan Credit Union, Lee Jeong-pyo, Executive Director of Seonrin Credit Union, and other executives, toured various parts of the markets, communicating with merchants and assessing the economic situation affecting citizens' livelihoods.

Additionally, Hanam Seafood Traditional Market will hold a special event from March 28 to April 1, in celebration of Fishermen's Day (April 1). Customers who purchase domestic seafood worth 34,000 KRW or more during the five-day period will receive a refund in the form of Onnuri gift certificates.

Depending on the purchase amount, customers who spend 34,000 KRW or more will receive 10,000 KRW, and those who spend 67,000 KRW or more will receive 20,000 KRW in Onnuri gift certificates as a payback. Visitors wishing to receive the refund must bring their purchase receipt and ID to the Hanam Seafood Customer Center between 11 AM and 7 PM on the day of purchase.

Mayor Lee Hyun-jae stated, "Traditional markets are the roots of the local economy and precious spaces where citizens' lives are intertwined. Through this event and the Onnuri gift certificate refund program, we hope to provide practical support to small business owners and help citizens feel closer to traditional markets."

He continued with a hopeful message to the merchants, saying, "I hope the warm energy of the spring breeze spreads through every market alley, and that all local residents unite their efforts to make traditional markets even more vibrant spaces."
