During His Visit to Pohang for Local Economic Revitalization
On the 18th, Lee Kangdeok, Mayor of Pohang, visited Yeongilman Port in Pohang and met with Chey Taewon, Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to discuss ways to revitalize the local economy.

At the site, in addition to Mayor Lee Kangdeok, Chairman Chey Taewon of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yang Geumhee, Vice Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongbuk Province, Lim Younghoon, Director of Pohang Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries, and about 20 other officials were present.
As a world-renowned entrepreneur and the current Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman Chey visited Pohang to share his insights not only on Yeongilman Port and the Arctic route, but also on the city's efforts to promote new regional industries.
