The city conducted an open recruitment for developmental disability activity service agencies and, after holding a selection committee meeting on the 13th, selected 12 agencies for re-designation and new designation.

The selected agencies include Good Morning Developmental Disability Day Activity Center (daytime), Gyeongsangnam-do Parents' Solidarity for the Disabled Yangsan Branch (daytime, after-school), Atti Activity Service Center (daytime, after-school), Yangsan Developmental Disability Activity Center (daytime, after-school), Podonamu Social Cooperative (daytime, after-school), Pureun Developmental Disability Day Activity Center (daytime), Kkum Namu Developmental Disability Activity Center (daytime, after-school), Miye Rim Day Activity Service Center (daytime), Yangsan Social Welfare Center (daytime, after-school), Yangsan Cerebral Palsy Disability Human Rights Association (daytime), Himangon Social Cooperative Yangsan Branch (after-school), and Yangsan Disabled Arts Network (after-school). The daytime and after-school activity services focus on improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and supporting their independence within the local community. The daytime activity service is operated for adults with developmental disabilities aged 18 and older, offering various programs to promote their social participation and independent living.

The after-school activity service provides tailored activities for individuals with developmental disabilities aged 6 to under 18, aiming to support their development during adolescence.

Lee Hyunju, Director of the Senior and Disabled Persons Division, stated, "Through this designation, we expect to meet the diverse support needs of individuals with developmental disabilities in the local community and provide broader services, thereby creating an environment where they can receive systematic and continuous support and helping to eliminate gaps in care."
