Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 18th that it conducted an on-site inspection of the Dalbit Nanumgwan construction site to ensure the smooth progress of the 'Wolya-myeon Basic Living Base Development Project'.
The 'Wolya-myeon Basic Living Base Development Project' was selected as a public offering project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in 2020, and received approval for its basic plan after going through a residents' promotion committee and a residents' briefing session.
The county is investing a total project cost of 3.9 billion KRW to horizontally expand the existing Dalmaji Culture Center located at 758-15, Wolya-ri, Wolya-myeon, to create the Dalbit Nanumgwan.
The Dalbit Nanumgwan is being constructed as a two-story building with a total floor area of 1,310 square meters. Construction began in May last year, and the current progress rate is 87%, with completion scheduled for April.
The Dalbit Nanumgwan will feature a multipurpose auditorium, a children's playground, and a lounge on the first floor, and a multicultural women's center and a study cafe, among other cultural and welfare facilities, on the second floor.
County Governor Lee Sangik stated, "The Dalbit Nanumgwan in Wolya-myeon is an important project that will become a health, welfare, and cultural hub centered on local residents. We will do our best to ensure thorough completion until the end," adding, "We will actively reflect the feedback from the inspection to ensure the smooth progress of the project."
