Citizen Teams to Propose and Implement Creative Ideas
Jeonbuk Iksan City is recruiting 100 citizen teams to participate in the 'Samsam Ooo Project', which is being carried out in collaboration with the Cultural City Support Center and Heemang Yeondae.
According to the city on the 18th, the Samsam Ooo Project is a program where citizens propose and implement ideas to make Iksan a more enjoyable and attractive city. Last year, citizens operated Iksan travel courses they created themselves.
This year, under the theme '100 Ways to Make Iksan Fun', teams will create events that highlight the unique characteristics of the region. Any citizen, student, or worker residing in Iksan can participate by forming a team of three to five people.
Each participating team will receive an operating budget of 100,000 won to hold discussion meetings. After holding meetings from the 12th to the 27th of next month, 20 teams with the most creative ideas will be selected and given the opportunity to implement their projects.
The selected teams will host innovative and fun events throughout Iksan from June to September. Three teams will be awarded through a final evaluation: Gold Prize (1,000,000 won), Silver Prize (700,000 won), and Bronze Prize (500,000 won).
