35 for Basic Course, 30 for Business Course on a First-Come, First-Served Basis
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 18th that it is recruiting trainees for the "2025 Social Economy Startup Academy" to solve local community problems and realize social values.

The application period is until April 11, and the number of recruits is 35 for the basic course and 30 for the business course, with registration closing on a first-come, first-served basis.
The training consists of a basic course and a business course. The basic course will be held from April 15 to 30, consisting of 6 sessions (a total of 12 hours).
Main topics include understanding the Yangju region, concepts and cases of social economy, policies and systems, social entrepreneurs' stories, and group discussions ("What social economy means to me").
The subsequent business course will run from May 13 to 29, also consisting of 6 sessions (a total of 12 hours), covering understanding social economy enterprise startups, defining local community problems, understanding the business model canvas, writing the business model canvas and mentoring, and business model presentations and discussions.
In particular, those who complete both courses will be eligible to apply for the "2025 Yangju Social Economy Startup Audition," and selected teams will receive a startup support fund of 10 million KRW and expert coaching.
